Terms and Conditions for attendance at Bright Tax Limited's Events

1. Introduction.

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your participation in the free event organised by Bright Tax Limited ("we", "us", "our"). By registering for or attending the event, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not register or attend.

2. Eligibility.

5. Liability and disclaimers.

Assumption of Risk: Attendance at the event is at your own risk. The organiser, Bright Tax Limited, its officers, employees, co-organisers and agents shall not be responsible or liable for any damages, loss, or injury whether direct or indirect, arising out of or in connection with your attendance at the event or reliance on any information provided.
Limitations of Liability: To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Organiser shall not be liable for any damages, losses, or expenses arising from:
  • technical issues, disruptions, or cancellations,
  • circumstances beyond our reasonable control,
  • any acts or omissions of third parties,
  • any reliance placed on information provided during the event.

No Liability for Certain Events: The Organiser shall not be liable for any loss or damage caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, war, terrorism, or governmental restrictions.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or for fraudulent misrepresentation.
Participants’ Attendees acknowledge that they attend the event entirely at their own risk and are responsible for their own safety and proper conduct during the event.

6. Privacy and Data Protection.

  • We will process your personal data in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
  • When you register or attend, you consent to us collecting, storing, and using your data for event administration, communication, and marketing purposes, unless you opt out.
